I have over nine years of experience in the industry, dedicating myself to mastering the art of hair extensions from the start.
Although I have undergone comprehensive training in various extension techniques such as Invisible Bead Extensions (IBE), Natural Beaded Rows (NBR), and ManeLuxe, I don’t believe in “one method fits all”, every hair is unique and it requires an unique approach, which is why I am overqualified to understand your hair and your needs. This expertise enables me to deliver personalized transformations tailored to each client. Ensuring seamless blending while preserving the health of natural hair and scalp is always my primary focus.
Originally from Northwest Arkansas, I have been based in New York City for more than five years, where I live with my husband and our small dog, Kipper. I am a hairstylist, educator, and founder of the brand Styx Hair.

Some hair extensions are damaging. We ONLY offer hair extensions that can be worn while allowing your natural hair to maintain growth and be healthy. At the salon I double check my work to make sure your hair and scalp look healthy and comfortable. If you are maintaining them correctly at home you won’t have to worry about damage.

I currently offer a few hand-tied hair extension methods. Invisible Bead Extensions (IBE), NBR, and Mane Luxe. I have had intensive training in all three methods. I am currently training to be certified in HairDreams toppers.

We are located inside Salons by JC, where you can find our private suite. The space offers a very relaxed, chill vibe. Good music, spacious, and comfortable. Located in 59th street, in Midtown Manhattan, right by Bloomingdales and is very close from many subway lines.
